A lady presented with an old porcelain over metal conventional bridge. She was very unhappy with its appearance as the dark margins were now visible where the gum line had moved over time and it was very opaque. The bridge was still clinically sound so no gaps or decay.
Replacing the bridge with a new ceramic bridge meant we were able to close the gap at the front, adjust the margins and use materials with a much more translucent and natural appearance. The patient was thrilled with the result!
